Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for a durable, lightweight sport kayak which can accommodate up to two adults with gear or one adult and two children.
Pros:
The Sea Eagle SE370 weighs a mere 26-lb, but has a whopping 500-lbs max weight capacity. It comes with 2 comfy DKS inflatable seats, which are noticeably more comfortable than the seats on the deluxe model. It can accommodate up to 2 adults with gear or 1 adult with 2 children.
Setting up and inflating the Sea Eagle takes only about 15 minutes. It comes supplied with a pump to inflate it. Ideally, to make things easier you should use an electric pump to start inflating it then finish pumping it manually by using a foot pump.
If you have a dog, you’ll be pleased to know that you can bring them with you in the kayak to share your kayaking adventure due to the durable PolyKrylar hull design which can stand up against dog paws. The hull also has three air chambers to maximize stability on the waters. Other signs of quality construction are its high-frequency welded seam and I-beam floor construction.
Self bailing drain valves are included. This ensures that when you take to rougher waters, the water will be able to drain out so the kayak doesn’t fill up with water thus affecting stability and performance. Additionally, the lashed down inflatable spray skirts create a watertight seal to prevent water getting in.

Despite being touted as suitable for Class III whitewaters, we wouldn’t recommend this kayak to be used on anything faster than slow, deep rivers.
The storage bag only has one shoulder strap instead of two. Not a major problem, but can make it harder to carry over long journeys. Also, the paddles cannot fit in the bag so you need to find another way to transport them.
Packing the boat away takes some effort due to the limited room in the bag, plus you need to ensure the boat is dry before packing it away to prevent mildew building up. Just some patience and common sense needed here.
